Recently, a team of scientists from Japan has found a new way to combat this pandemic from arising in the future. The Japanese scientists have created a vaccine with super abilities to fight against almost five of the COVID strains. This super vaccine related research has already been published by the researchers in the Journal of Experimental Medicine.
In the latest study, the researchers changed the genetic composition of the spike protein and also added sugar molecules in the head section to create a completely super powerful vaccine. The presence of sugar molecules is believed to make it impossible for the virus to infect the human cells. The newly developed vaccine is found to stimulate the development of number of antibodies to combat COVID-19. The super vaccine can identify the coronavirus as well as other viruses such as SARS. The scientists are working toward creating a breakthrough with minimal side effects and longer efficiency.
The studies on the coronavirus variants and antibody produced after being infected is still in progress despite the development of a few vaccines such as Covishield, Covaxin, etc. The antibodies ability to recognize the viruses and its variants is the primary reason the scientists are working toward creating vaccine with immense power to inhibit the spreading of this disease across a community.
