The smart lightbulb portfolio Philips Hue already has some outdoor lighting, but speculation has it that Philips will add more outdoor alternatives, probably at CES. As per a leaked product list, Philips Hue is aiming at a pretty huge extension of its service.
New to the assortment are a box that will emit light down and up the wall, the Hue Resonate; an angular light accessible as a wall lamp or path lamp, the Philips Hue Nyro; and the Philips Hue Appear, a tubular edition of the Resonate. Other new wall lights will have the circular Attract and Daylo, which has a see-through lampshade. All of the new devices are ambiance and color models.
Philips Hue is upgrading its garden spotlight Lily, which will now also launch in a bigger size. The Lily XL has 1,200 lumens and is almost 5 inches broader—almost 2 times the size of 640 lumens of the initial Hue Lily. There is also a latest outdoor wall light Impress.
As per media, the list references “Spring 2020,” but it is not specific about a roll out date or costing. With any luck, we will learn more at CES.
